We’re extremely proud to have been awarded both the AIRBNB Superhost Status and the Booking.com Guest Review Award. It’s not an Oscar, an IFTA or a BAFTA but to us The Guest Review Awards are worth their weight in Gold. We love what we do and to know that our guests love it too is just so rewarding.

Great location, close to a few hidden gems, lisadell beach, raghly pier, fabulous beach near pier. Even has a Italian restaurant nearby!!Loads of outdoor activities to do in or around even if weather is not brilliant. Jarlath and Mary are excellent hosts, very informative and a pleasure to deal with.

Beautiful private house, just at the foot of Benbulben mountain, quiet area and very close to Sligo attractions, beaches. All amenities are modern and stylish. We totally enjoyed our stay.

When we booked this house there weren’t a lot of options left in Sligo, being short notice and August, but having stayed at this property I’m surprised it hasn’t been snapped up because it’s great! The house is located in a fantastic spot near Ben Bulbin mountain. You can see the mountain in all its glory just by looking out the bedroom windows. It’s like a purpose-built guest house, so it’s not a traditional type house. It’s bright (mostly white paint) inside, with very tasteful decor. The house is very thoughtfully equipped with everything you’ll need – iron & ironing board, hairdryer, games for kids (we had great fun playing Jenga!), shampoo & conditioner. The kitchen has a proper oven, toaster, microwave, washing machine, cultery, plates, salt, pepper – the whole shabang. The two bedrooms are great! Both have some storage space, lovely beds, good quality bedding, attractive warm blankets on all the beds, blinds to keep most of the light out in the morning, and lovely rugs. The bathroom is great – big open shower space (the best kind), and a new, clean, modern bathroom suite. There’s a big space connecting all the rooms with shelves and hangers, which is really nice too. There’s also an outdoor yard with seating and a rotary clothes line, another huge asset. We loved every minute of our stay at Jarlath’s place. Sweet property, lovely helpful host who loves and knows a lot about the area, and all this in a superb location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The lodge while compact has everything you need for comfortable stay and is a great spot to base yourself to explore north Sligo. Mary and Jarlath very easy to deal with and genuine nice people. Would happily stay there again. My kids 5 and 6 loved it. WiFi very handy in the evenings as we were not out late. Some of the stuff we did locally, Streedagh beach few km’s from Grange, off the beaten track a bit but great for kids, it was their highlight of the trip. Stradhill beach, Rosses point and Glencar waterfall all very nice. Beautiful senic route on Gleniff Horseshoe drive, it’s short so kids wont get bored! Davis Restaurant Drumcliff and Henrys bit further north on N15 both really nice.
